The problem isn't trying to hurt them. He'd never do that on purpose. It's hurting them on accident. The Soldier gingerly sets the egg back down in Grace's care, while she paws at his wrist to keep him next to her. At least she doesn't seem worried, but who knows if she's ever handled babies before. He absolutely never has. He's sure of it.
